About

Tattoos have been around for many many years and the industry has continued to grow rapidly in the 21st century. Tattoos have become a way for people to dispaly their values and interest in a unique way and overall express themselves. While many benefits, such as emerging art trends and a promotion in self identity, have emerged with the tattoo industry, there are still major issues.

The current tattoo industry has contributed to large amounts of waste. Many materials used during the tattooing process are used once and then discarded. Some of these materials include large amounts of plastic cover, autoclave trays, plastic ink holds, latex gloves, and more. These materials are traditionally all very unsustainable products. However, new emerging products in the Tattoo industry pose hope for a less damaging and wasteful future.
